David Schapiro, Chief Executive Officer
A visionary and seasoned executive in the field of business software solutions, Mr. Schapiro has over 20 years of marketing, technology and business experience in senior management positions. Prior to Earnix, Mr. Schapiro served as Executive Vice President of Markets and Products at ClickSoftware (NASDAQ: CKSW), where he was a key factor in driving the company from its founding, through an IPO, to the position of leading provider of Service Optimization Solutions. Mr. Schapiro is well versed in growing software companies in dynamic markets. He has consulted for venture capital funds and leading startup companies where he helped define the marketing, product, and overall business strategy. Prior to his position at ClickSoftware Mr. Schapiro held management and development positions at Applied Materials, Scitex, and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Schapiro holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University, and a Master's in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
Sammy Krikler, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Krikler, a co-founder of Earnix, is responsible for Product R&D and Client Professional Services. Mr. Krikler has extensive experience in research and development in the financial markets. Previously he worked as R&D manager of Eventus R&D, leading a highly qualified group of mathematicians, statisticians, economists and software engineers in the development of mathematical models for forecasting, derivatives pricing and risk management of financial markets. Mr. Krikler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Jerusalem Hebrew University.
Einat Paz, Chief Financial Officer
Ms.Paz is responsible for all aspects of finance and strategic financial planning for Earnix. Most recently, Ms. Paz served as chief financial officer of ADC Israel (a subsidiary of ADC Inc.). Previous positions include VP Finance at Portalis, and finance-related positions at Scidel Technologies (a Scitex company), Scitex, and Oscar Gruss Ltd. In these positions, Ms. Paz built corporate financial and operational infrastructure, participated in strategic corporate decision-making, and managed relations with shareholders and venture capitalists. Ms. Paz holds an MBA in International Finance, and a B.A. in Management and Economics (cum laude), both from Tel Aviv University.
Jacob Eckel, Vice President of R&D
Mr. Eckel is responsible for Earnix's software development operations. He has 13 years of combined experience in designing and implementing software applications, specializing in Object Oriented system engineering. Mr. Eckel is formerly co-founder and Vice President of Technology at DealFusion, a collaborative enterprise software provider. Previous to that, he was R&D manager of ApNet Ltd and held a group manager position at Emultek. Previously, he worked as a software development consultant for leading Israeli hi-tech companies such as Rafael, B.O.S, KLA & Elscint. Mr. Eckel holds an M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering, a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and an MBA, all from the Technological Institute of Israel (Technion), where he also lectured during two years on Object Oriented Programming.
Barak Melnik, Vice President of Products and Business Development
Mr. Melnik is responsible for developing Earnix's solution road-map and business development strategy. Mr. Melnik joined Earnix from the London office of McKinsey & Co. During his five years at McKinsey, he served leading Financial Institutions on a broad array of strategic and operational topics in Europe and in the USA. Some of his more recent work included serving Insurance companies in areas related to pricing and underwriting as well as channel management and marketing. Prior to joining McKinsey, Barak worked several years in the implementation of Enterprise Software in Comverse Technologies Ltd and Elscint Ltd (medical devices). Barak holds an MBA degree from Wharton Business School of University of Pennsylvania, and a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Israel (Technion).
Henry Ainouze, Vice President of Sales, Europe
Mr. Ainouze is responsible for developing Earnix’s growing customer base of national and multinational insurers and banks throughout Europe. Mr. Ainouze has over 20 years of experience in the High-Tech industry and 10 years of sales leadership. Prior to joining Earnix, Mr. Ainouze was responsible for EMEA sales operation and strategic account management at NextNine, a support automation solution provider. He began his professional sales career at Sapiens International, a global provider of solutions for the insurance industry, where he generated over $50M in new project revenues throughout Europe. Mr. Ainouze holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence from the Aix-Marseille University and a Master’s in Software Engineering from the CERISI Sophia-Antipolis.
Reuven Shnaps, Ph.D. , Vice President of Professional Services
Dr. Shnaps is responsible for the management and delivery of advanced analytics and consulting projects performed by Earnix for our customers around the world. Dr. Shnaps has over 15 years of experience in developing and analyzing advanced statistical and economic models. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing price optimization projects in leading insurance companies and banks in both Europe and North America regions. Prior to joining Earnix Dr. Shnaps worked in the economic and statistical consulting group at Deloitte & Touche in the US, serving corporate clients across multiple industries. He holds a Ph.D. and an MA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and an MA in Business Economics and a BA in Economics and Statistics from Bar-Ilan University.
Meryl Golden, Senior Advisor
Ms. Golden is leading the development of Earnix’ business in North America. With over 25 years of management experience leading US property & casualty insurers, Ms. Golden brings a wealth of operational insurance expertise to strengthen the Earnix team. At Liberty Mutual, Ms. Golden served as Senior Vice President & General Manager with full P&L responsibility for the largest region in the personal insurance business with over $1B in direct written premiums. At Progressive, she served as Northeast General Manager, where she had P&L responsibility for a $1.5B region spanning nine states and over 6,000 independent producers. Earlier in her career at Progressive, Ms. Golden served in various general, product, and relationship management roles. Ms. Golden is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.Sc. in Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a an MBA from the University of Chicago.
